So this year has been pretty Nick-centered for me. I met him in late March and all other plans for the year went out the window (remember when I planned on knitting 12 sweaters in one year? Yeah…)

But other things did happen! That I could have blogged about! Like, my last bad date where the guy kept asking me if I was having fun (I wasn’t) and then asked me to chip in on the pitcher of beer he’d already bought before I got there (it had cost him $6). I wish I’d written about him but I’m also hopeful he was the last bad date I’ll ever have.

Let’s just do a year in review in pictures.

I went to Vegas with my college besties:

I spent time with my little Cooper nephew and had so much fun watching him grow:

I went clamming for the first time and even though I got cut by a shell and should’ve gotten stitches, it was still fun and delicious:

I went to Colorado to visit family and see my grandparents’ grave. I hadn’t been to Colorado since I was around 9 or 10 years old.

I went snowshoeing with Nick and my family down on Mt. Bachelor (the first time for most of us) and had a blast:

2012 was really great. Here’s hoping 2013 is even better!!! Happy New Year!!!
